Who Are We?

WFPD is a women’s welfare organization dedicated to empowering women and vulnerable communities in Mandera County and neighbouring areas. We address gender inequality, poverty and social exclusion by expanding access to opportunities, resources and fundamental rights. Through community-led projects, we strengthen livelihoods, promote peace, prevent violence against women and girls, and provide humanitarian support. We also collaborate with local communities and development partners to create sustainable change across the region.

This is a cross-border project seeking to enhance peace and stability, and strengthen social and economic dynamics, in the border areas between Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia

Regional Approach for sustainable conflict management and integration. This is a cross border conflict management targeting women networks.
